Ronaldo Responds to Criticism of Portugal Teammates
Cristiano Ronaldo reacted to a post by Filipe Mello, in which he criticized how his teammates and the Portuguese national team’s coach treat him, pointing out that Ronaldo is not given the same level of appreciation and respect as stars from other teams, such as Messi. Mello emphasized that there is a significant gap in respect for him and Ronaldo among the players, with a clear support for Ronaldo in his disagreement with the national team, although he might reconsider his stance if it’s proven that Ronaldo has broken agreements or left the camp without permission. This reaction comes after Ronaldo left the Portuguese camp following sitting on the bench during a match against Norway, amid controversy over his relationship with the coaching staff and his future with the national team.
