Manchester City appeals league ruling
Manchester City Football Club has filed a comprehensive appeal against the decision of the Independent Panel of the English Premier League regarding the disciplinary violations levied against it, asserting its innocence and claiming that the decision contains serious legal and factual errors. The club clarified that it possesses compelling evidence supporting its position and that it continues to defend itself. An independent appeals committee composed of three members will review the case within a period not exceeding 12 weeks from the date of the appeal submission, with a decision expected to be issued within 30 days of the hearing. The club’s chairman, Khaldoon Al Mubarak, affirmed that legal proceedings are still ongoing and that the club’s confidence in its innocence remains unchanged, as it continues to commit to proving it.
