Ferguson recalls tough times: "Lost my voice"
Sir Alex Ferguson, the legendary former Manchester United manager, recounted his struggles after suffering a brain hemorrhage in 2018 and undergoing emergency surgery. He lost the ability to speak for a long period, which was a frightening moment for him. He mentioned that he began therapy with word recall exercises. Amid his fear of returning to the pitch four months after surgery, he attended a Manchester United match amidst a warm reception, despite feeling scared and anxious. He is now preparing to release a book titled "Games of My Life," in which he highlights 21 important matches from his career as a player and manager, shining a light on the beginning of his journey and his successes with United.
