Saudi Arabia Faces Defender Absence in Gulf Cup
Zakaria Hawsawi, the defender of the Saudi national team, has passed away due to an injury sustained in the Iraq match at the 27th Gulf Cup. He is now facing a possible absence from the final matches of the tournament after an injury in the last game. The player suffered an injury that led to his exclusion from the remaining matches of the tournament, and he will undergo treatment and rehabilitation, but his chances of returning to participate in the final matches have become slim. Three other players were also absent from the national team in the tournament due to injuries, and the coach continues to keep Hawsawi on the squad list despite the potential exclusion from upcoming matches.
