Bayern advances in Kane contract talks
Bayern Munich has taken an important step in its negotiations with team captain Harry Kane to extend his contract beyond June 2027. The talks are heading toward a two-year extension until 2029, with Kane aiming to maintain a high level of competitiveness through Euro 2028 and the 2030 World Cup. Kane's current salary is 25 million euros per year, and it may remain at the same level in the extension, with the possibility of including a buyout clause and reducing the salary for a longer contract. Despite being linked with clubs like Real Madrid, as well as English and Saudi teams, no official negotiations have taken place with any of them so far. Since joining, Kane has scored 150 goals and provided 34 assists in 153 matches, and he is aiming to win the UEFA Champions League with Bayern.
