Jesus affirms Ronaldo's spot in Portugal team
Cristiano Ronaldo has been selected to participate with the Portugal national team in the first four rounds of the UEFA Nations League qualifiers, according to a list announced by the new coach, Jorge Jesus. Despite Jesus acknowledging Ronaldo's significant status since his five Ballon d'Or awards, he emphasized that participation depends on performance; if the player delivers the required performance, he will play, and if not, he won't. Jesus also announced that this season might be Ronaldo’s last as a professional player. Meanwhile, the Portuguese national team is preparing for upcoming matches against Wales, Norway, and Denmark, with a focus on reclaiming the championship title after winning it in 2019 and 2025.
