California fires threaten mansions and land
Wildfires in Southern California, specifically in Orange County, are causing the destruction of homes worth millions of dollars amidst strong Santa Ana winds, which have led to widespread fires covering thousands of hectares. Authorities have issued extensive evacuation orders and warnings about deteriorating air quality and the risk of fire expansion. The main blazes include the "Norty" fire, which burned 188 hectares and damaged four homes, and the "Henderson" fire, which has covered 2,070 hectares. Firefighting efforts are ongoing, with warnings that the fire danger will persist until Saturday.
