Closure of 32 unlicensed healthcare facilities
The Director of the Directorate of Licensing of Health Professions and Institutions stated that the ministry closed 32 violating health facilities over the past two months and submitted referral reports for physicians practicing without a license to the Public Prosecution. Additionally, 75 inspection tours were conducted covering 503 health institutions, leading to the discovery of 22 complaints related to dental clinics, with medical errors addressed according to their severity. The ministry affirmed that practicing without a license is a serious violation that warrants the closure of the facility and referral of offenders to the prosecution.
