Americans' Support for Israel Declines
American support for Israel has decreased to its lowest level since the conflict began, with a poll indicating that 48% of voters are more aligned with Israelis compared to 38% with Palestinians. This marks a significant decline from 54% in June and 68% at the start of the war in October 2023. The survey also showed that support has notably dropped among women, Latino voters, individuals under 45 years old, college graduates, and Democratic Party members, while the decline was less pronounced among Republicans. Additionally, the poll revealed that 71% of Americans believe the Trump administration lacks a clear plan to end the war with Iran, and 60% think that military action against Iran was a wrong decision. The survey was conducted among 1,211 registered voters between September 11 and 14.
