Incorrect credit card caused car hire issue
A car rental dispute highlights the importance of using the correct credit card type. An individual was refused vehicle collection because her First Direct Visa card was not accepted by Enterprise at a French airport, despite the company's stated policy to accept Visa. The incident resulted in alternative transport costs, and although Enterprise later refunded the rental, it did not reimburse additional expenses caused by the error. The article emphasizes that rental agencies often require the name on the credit card to match the driver’s license and cautions travelers to review terms and conditions carefully to avoid similar issues.
