Report links British Christian nationalism to infrequent church attendance
A recent report indicates that Christian nationalism in Britain is mainly driven by individuals who rarely attend church and focus on defending the country's Christian heritage rather than active religious practice. The survey reveals that only a small percentage of those identifying with Christian nationalism attend church regularly, and most hold hostile views towards immigration and Islam, framing Christianity as a marker of national identity amid cultural anxieties. The findings suggest that rising displays of Christian symbols at rallies do not reflect a religious revival but rather cultural and political expressions linked to national identity.
