Reform donor Ben Delo loans £350k to accused bully
Ben Delo, a major Reform UK donor, loaned around £350,000 to Nina Power to help fund her legal case related to online conduct allegations. The case involved Power and her friend, Daniel Miller, bringing defamation claims against Luke Turner, which were dismissed, and a harassment counter-claim that was also unsuccessful. The judge noted social media posts by Power and Miller had a “whiff of threat and antisemitism,” but ruled their conduct was not unlawful; Delo stated he did not believe Power and Miller held antisemitic views.
