'No Kings' supporters defy warnings for Democrats
The article reports that the "No Kings" protest movement is shifting from street demonstrations to voter mobilization efforts that appear highly partisan, despite publicly claiming nonpartisanship. Organized by a coalition of progressive groups, labor unions, and Democratic-aligned organizations, these events promote messages supporting Democratic candidates and policies, often in direct conflict with their own rules prohibiting partisan advocacy. Major organizations involved include Indivisible, MoveOn, and labor unions, with coordinated efforts aimed at turning anti-Trump protests into a "Blue Tsunami" of votes.
