French cyber agency warns of ongoing attack
A cyberattack on French supermarkets has compromised refrigeration systems, causing temperatures to spike and forcing stores to discard perishable goods. The attack, which targeted older systems lacking security updates, affected hundreds of stores and is believed to still be ongoing, raising concerns about food supply chain vulnerabilities. Authorities in France and the Netherlands are investigating, with no perpetrators publicly identified, while emphasizing the need for enhanced cybersecurity measures in the food sector.
