Russian attacks cause 7 deaths in Ukraine after Trump-Putin diesel agreement
Russian strikes in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region killed at least 12 people, including three children, and wounded 14 others. The attacks occurred shortly after the U.S. announced a deal to supply Russia with over 300,000 tons of diesel, prompting criticism from Ukrainian officials who see the move as enabling Russia’s ongoing violence. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy condemned the deal, stating it risks prolonging the war and emboldening Russia to continue its attacks.
