Missouri Player DJ Jones Recovers Post-Transplant
Johnnie "DJ" Jones, a freshman offensive lineman for the Missouri Tigers, is recovering after undergoing a heart transplant. The surgery was successful, and he is now in recovery, thanks to a donor and medical team. Jones, an 18-year-old recruit, was diagnosed with a serious heart defect during mandatory screening, which was only discovered after initial testing failed to reveal the issue.
