Arizona candidate alleges assault while fixing sign
A Democratic congressional candidate in Arizona reported being raped in a parking lot while repairing campaign signs, with the incident occurring in Sun City on August 14. She stated she was knocked unconscious and woke to find a man on top of her, but did not initially notify police, filing a report two weeks later. The investigation is ongoing, and her Republican opponent called for a thorough inquiry. The candidate has spoken about the impact of the attack and her commitment to advocating for victims.
