UN condemns Sudan drone strikes

The United Nations condemned the extensive use of drones in the Sudan conflict, documenting the killing of over 300 civilians in October due to airstrikes targeting civilian facilities, including homes, hospitals, and public squares. It called for a halt to the flow of weapons that contribute to the escalation of fighting and urged the parties involved to adhere to international humanitarian law and avoid targeting civilians. Reports indicate that the conflict has resulted in the deaths of more than 200,000 people, displaced over 13 million, and triggered a severe humanitarian crisis in the country.
