First Drone Rescues Wounded Ukrainian

Ukraine succeeded in rescuing a wounded soldier using a drone for the first time in the history of warfare. A military team utilized a large drone to transport the soldier from the Kharkiv region after he had remained on the front lines for 491 days. The soldier, Kostyantyn Vlasenko, had previously lost his left foot in a Russian attack, and he decided to amputate his right leg due to a serious injury when he was unable to crawl, managing to survive. The operation, which took place on October 4, represents the latest advancement in modern warfare technology, as a remotely operated drone was used to carry the soldier over a distance of 15 kilometers. It is the first of its kind in the Russia-Ukraine conflict in the past five years.
