Coalition targets 11 drones and missile
The article included an announcement from the Support Legitimacy Coalition in Yemen regarding the interception and destruction of 11 remotely piloted aircraft and a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis toward Saudi territories, including Riyadh, Madinah, Najran, and the Eastern Province. There have been no reports of damages or casualties resulting from the attacks, but Saudi authorities announced the death of four people due to shrapnel and defenses against the UAVs, including an attack targeting an oil field operated by Aramco in the Eastern Province and King Fahd International Airport. These escalations occur in the context of ongoing clashes between Saudi Arabia and the Houthi group since July 2023, with continuous military escalation since the start of the Yemen conflict in 2015. The Arab coalition supports the Yemeni government in countering the Houthis, who control Sana'a and other provinces.
