Tibas faces disciplinary measures
Javier Tebas, president of the Spanish La Liga, is facing disciplinary action after mentioning communication methods at Real Madrid, where he compared them to the propaganda techniques of Nazi Minister Joseph Goebbels. The Spanish government has requested the sports administrative court to assess whether his statements constitute a violation of sports law, which sanctions actions that damage the dignity of sports. The remarks have angered Real Madrid, which called for Tebas's resignation. Tebas confirmed that he was comparing propaganda methods, not ideologies, but the incident has sparked controversy over how much he respects the values of sportsmanship.
