Taiz fronts strongly oppose Houthis' assaults

The battles in Taiz focused on repelling Houthi attacks during Operation "Yemen Dawn," where vital locations such as the old airport and nearby military camps were targeted. Government forces successfully fended off advancing attempts, backed by a series of airstrikes that destroyed Houthi reinforcements and vehicles. Since the operation began on October 5th, approximately 20,000 ground and air operations have been carried out, resulting in the death of more than 15,000 Houthi fighters. Efforts to recapture positions and strengthen the city's defenses have been thwarted. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense warned that the Houthis are exploiting gathering sites to recruit children and young people, emphasizing that these are legitimate military targets. The operation continues with the goal of regaining full control over Yemeni territory.
