Macron alerts on threat to France

French President Emmanuel Macron has confirmed that France will prevent unorganized protests by trade unions in the coming days, as part of its efforts to counter a plan by far-left groups aiming to overthrow the republic through organized violence. He explained that authorities will designate safe routes for recognized marches to protect property and infrastructure. A Defense Council meeting is also being convened to discuss additional security measures in preparation for the upcoming wave of protests. Meanwhile, investigations and legal proceedings continue against those involved in acts of violence, amid reports of external parties intervening to deepen divisions by spreading fabricated content.
