Putin Releases American Post Meeting

Russian reports indicated that President Vladimir Putin ordered the release of American citizen Steven Hubbard, 74 years old, at the request of U.S. President Donald Trump. This decision came during the visit of the American envoy to Russia as part of efforts to improve relations and restore economic cooperation between the two countries. Hubbard was previously detained by Russia on charges of working as a "mercenary" for Ukraine. This move is part of negotiations between the two sides aimed at ending the conflict in Ukraine, with Putin emphasizing Moscow's readiness to supply the American market with fertilizers and to ease fuel prices. The American envoy also pointed to the existence of grounds for a ceasefire and the development of economic relations after the conflict's conclusion.
