Eizenkot Criticizes Netanyahu and Moves Politically
Gadi Eisenkot, the leader of the Israeli "Yesh Atid" party and a rival to Netanyahu in the upcoming election on October 27, criticized the statements regarding the Iranian threat. He affirmed that there is no immediate or direct threat that requires military action, and that the current government is spreading inaccurate information. He described Netanyahu’s statements as "lies" and "detached from reality." According to a recent poll, Yesh Atid, led by Eisenkot, is leading the Likud party by four seats, with Yesh Atid securing 23 seats and Blue and White 14. Meanwhile, Likud has fallen to 19 seats amid a significant decline in the popularity of the competing parties.
