Houthi attack on Shabwa recruitment center

Houthi attacks on a training center in Shabwa Governorate, southeastern Yemen, resulted in the death of 53 people and injured more than 200 others while they were receiving security training. The center was targeted with ballistic missiles during the presence of recruits, and authorities declared the fallen as martyrs of duty, confirmed salary allocations for their families, and ensured the rights of the wounded. These attacks come amidst ongoing clashes between government forces and the Iran-backed Houthi militias, with the government forces making progress in several areas around Taiz and regaining positions and heavy weaponry.
