Fajr Yemen retakes positions from Houthis in Taiz

The Yemeni government forces continue to carry out Operation "Yemen Dawn," which aims to regain control of areas controlled by the Houthis. In recent days, military and air strikes have intensified, resulting in the death and injury of over 15,000 Houthi fighters, and the destruction of dozens of their vehicles and fortifications. The troops have made progress in Taiz and Marib, executing more than 1,326 precise targeting operations against Houthi positions. The number of ballistic missiles launched by the group on Marib increased to 8 within a single day. Additionally, the destruction of a ferry by the Houthis on the Hajjah-Al Hudaydah road has disrupted transportation, worsening the suffering of local residents. The government has called on the international community to intervene and stop the destruction of infrastructure. The Yemeni army confirmed that these ongoing operations aim to reduce the Houthis' maneuvering capabilities and to disrupt their counterattacks, as progress continues on various fighting fronts.
