Mourinho hints at Vini Jr. Exit and Appreciates His Smile
Real Madrid coach José Mourinho said that if he were in Vinícius Júnior's place, he would have left the club last summer due to the ongoing racial abuse and targeting by fans. He praised Vinícius for his honesty and smile despite the difficulties. He added that Vinícius loves the club and the city and believes there is room for improvement. Although he signed a contract until 2032, he might have chosen to leave if he were in his place. Vinícius was suspended for four matches after being sent off in a match against Villarreal, which is a setback to his ability to participate, but Mourinho believes that the punishment was less than what the hidden figure on the Spanish Football Federation's Disciplinary Committee might have received.
