Sisi on Power Transition and Next President Selection
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has affirmed that the throne will not be inherited by any of his relatives after his term ends in 2030. He stated that Egypt will be governed through the development of qualified leaders via a 30-month training program at the Military Academy, overseen by the Parliament, the Ministry of Justice, and Higher Education. The program aims to train between 200 and 1,000 candidates who possess competence and experience. Its goal is to prepare leaders for all positions, ensuring the continuity and success of the state without relying on a single individual, while also stressing adherence to the constitution and honoring the presidential term limit concluding in 2030.
