Bermuda Triangle Sparks Iraq Crisis
The article addresses the crisis of Jurf al-Sakhr in Iraq, raising questions about the extent of the Iraqi state's sovereignty and the influence of Iran-backed factions in the region. Government officials are calling for the area to be opened to the media and official authorities to uncover the truth of what is happening, as the region remains closed and protected. This situation raises concerns about Iraqi control over its territories, as some politicians accuse the government of unofficially allowing Iran-backed militias to dominate the area, using it as a site for weapon storage and militia training, amidst a level of ambiguity that threatens national sovereignty.
