Shenzhen-Hong Kong port reopens

The Huanggang Port, which originated in southern China, has been officially opened after redevelopment. It serves as the most important land border crossing for travelers between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The port aims to accelerate and facilitate border crossing through a joint inspection system that reduces processing time from 30 minutes to approximately 5 minutes. It handles around 200,000 passenger trips daily, with the capacity increasing to 300,000 when the North Link branch line is operational. The port is equipped with 134 automatic channels and 68 traditional windows, operating around the clock to enable hundreds of millions of travelers to cross more quickly and efficiently.
