Saudi League honors Al-Owais at Gulf 27
During the eighth round of the Saudi Pro League, a special moment occurred before the start of the classic match between Al Hilal and Al Ittihad. International goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais carried the Gulf 27 Championship trophy, which the Saudi national team recently won. This came after a ceremonial guard of honor was held to honor Al-Owais, who achieved significant individual accomplishments during the tournament, including the Best Goalkeeper award, having kept a clean sheet in all of Saudi Arabia's matches without conceding a single goal. The match ended with Al Hilal winning 3-2, after Ittihad scored the first goal, then Al Hilal scored twice to take the lead, and Ittihad equalized, with the match ultimately concluding in a victory for Al Hilal.
