Al-Zubaydi: Forces regain Bab al-Mandab border

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, confirmed that the Southern forces have regained control of the southern borders in the Bab al-Mandab area and on Mīyun Island, following significant sacrifices made by his forces in confrontations with the Iran-backed Houthi militia. Al-Zubaidi praised the "heroism" demonstrated by the Southern forces, expressed condolences to the martyrs of the forces, and affirmed that the bloodshed will not be in vain. His goal remains the establishment of a free and independent Southern state with full sovereignty. These statements reaffirm that Southern forces are strengthening their on-the-ground gains and continue their efforts to realize the people’s aspirations for independence.
