Google Maps to introduce key update
Google is working on developing a new feature within the Google Maps app that allows sharing Ask Maps conversations via public links, making it easier to share search results and AI-based suggestions in a more organized and efficient manner. Currently, users can copy individual responses, but the problem lies in the lack of an easy way to share the entire conversation with links, which Google aims to address by adding a direct link creation option for conversations. In-app indicators suggest that Google is working on managing shared links and bulk deletion of conversations, as well as more seamless integration of the Ask Maps feature into the search bar for easier access. These features are under testing and may be released later to enhance conversational search experiences and facilitate communicating with friends about the suggested results, all while continuing to develop Gemini technologies within the app.
