European Parliament urges action on Brotherhood infiltration
The European Parliament, by a majority of 381 votes to 167, adopted a resolution outlining a strategy to counter the increasing influence of extremist groups and the Muslim Brotherhood organization. The resolution also calls for the exclusion of the "Vimeso" organization, which is close to the Muslim Brotherhood, from European institutions. The aim of the resolution is to track the flow of European funding directed toward extremist entities, amid concerns about infiltration by the Muslim Brotherhood at both the local and organizational levels, especially in the context of the 2027 European presidential election campaign.
