Green Party Criticized After Zionism Label

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has classified the British Green Party as an anti-Semitic organization after its vote to treat Zionism as a form of racism and its support for establishing a Palestinian state over the entire historic territory of Palestine. The party's leader, Zac Polansky, was declared persona non grata and prohibited from entering Israel, while the Israeli president described the vote as a "stain." This escalation occurred amid angry reactions from the Israeli government and Jewish communities, with some party members deeming the vote an anti-Semitic move, while Polansky emphasized that supporting the displacement and eradication of Palestinians is unequivocally racist.
