Gulf Cup 27: Momen Soliman and Iraq Coach Role
There have been reports about the possibility of Egyptian coach Moamen Soliman taking over the Iraq national team, replacing Australian Graham Arnold after Iraq's elimination from the group stage of Gulf 27. However, no official negotiations have taken place yet. Soliman confirmed that he has not received an official offer but is among the options being considered, while Arnold's future remains uncertain, with a decision expected after his contract concludes at the 2027 Asian Cup. It is worth noting that Soliman has extensive experience in Iraqi football, having won 7 titles, including 3 Iraqi Premier League titles and the Iraq Cup with local teams. He is currently managing the Iraqi club Al-Karma.
