Ben Affleck discusses AI use in Animals
Ben Affleck revealed that the use of artificial intelligence in the film "Animals" is limited to the post-production phase as a technical tool to enhance the quality of scenes and save time. It is not used to create the entire film from scratch. He pointed out that technology helped in adjusting colors and visual effects, but he declined to reveal detailed specifics to maintain the confidentiality of the process, emphasizing that the human element and creativity remain the foundation of filmmaking. He also founded the company "InterPositive" to develop AI-based tools to improve the film industry, with a focus on ensuring their use does not violate copyright laws. The film's story revolves around a candidate for Los Angeles mayor who has his son kidnapped and demands a ransom for his release.
