Pakistani FM on Makkah Alliance and Houthi attacks

The "Mecca Agreement"—signed last August by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, the Turkish President, and the Pakistani Prime Minister—is considered a framework for strengthening defense and political cooperation among the three countries, with the aim of achieving regional security and stability and facing attacks such as the Houthi assaults on Saudi Arabia. An urgent strategic committee is scheduled to convene in Riyadh next week to discuss the implications of the Houthi attacks and determine collective response steps. Additionally, defense and security leaders have expressed their solidarity with the Kingdom and their commitment to protecting its security, with more than six countries ready to join the alliance. The initiatives include organizing regular meetings to monitor progress in establishing executive and coordination bodies, as well as military and intelligence coordination to enhance deterrence and collective defense.
