Houthi rockets support front-line progression

The article discusses the Houthi group's escalation through the use of ballistic missiles in the Yemen war, as they launched widespread attacks on several strategic sites within Yemen, including the city of Tuba. The aim was to manage the battle deep inside the country and send threatening messages to the Yemeni army and the population. The attacks began in August and continued to escalate, expanding their targeting from camps in Ma’rib to cities along the western coast and Taiz, culminating in Tuba, which is located along a vital axis connecting Taiz to the southern regions. These strikes have caused confusion among the forces and fostered fear among civilians. The group uses missiles to broaden the confrontation front, target support and supply centers, and achieve preliminary objectives for any potential ground movement. The ongoing general mobilization in the region reflects the group’s strategy to destabilize and hinder the defensive capabilities of the Yemeni army.
