The Houthis launched synchronized attacks on several fronts within the city and elsewhere, while the government forces responded with intensive air and ground strikes, resulting in the killing and injury of hundreds of Houthi fighters and the destruction of their equipment. The fighting primarily took place on the fronts of Jabal Habashi, Mucabbana, Al-Aqroudh, and Sam'a. The Houthi attacks focused on attempting to advance in various directions, but the government forces were able to repel them and inflict significant losses on the Houthis. Additionally, Coalition forces carried out airstrikes against Houthi positions in Taiz and other areas, achieving the destruction of artillery and ammunition. Operations continue on multiple fronts, with the Yemeni army ramping up military preparations to counter the ongoing Houthi escalation.
