Poland Eyes Turkish Defense Model

Turkey has experienced significant growth in its defense industries over the past two decades, successfully reducing its reliance on imports from 80% to advanced local production levels. This achievement has prompted Poland— which has praised Turkey's model— to seek to adopt similar strategies to boost domestic manufacturing and expand its defense exports. Turkey announced a 16.2% increase in its defense exports during the first eight months of this year, reaching $6.3 billion.
