Honor MagicOS 11 debut with key devices

Honor has unveiled MagicOS 11, built on Android 17, featuring a redesigned interface that emphasizes liquid glass effects and transparency. The new design includes performance enhancements and faster animations—up to 20% quicker. The interface also focuses on boosting AI capabilities through the development of YOYO assistant, which can handle over 1,000 scenarios and perform complex tasks of up to 100 steps. Additionally, storage management has been improved to save up to 60GB of data. Honor has expanded support for connecting with other devices, including Apple products such as iPhone and macOS, as well as Xiaomi, Oppo, and vivo devices, all facilitated by the Honor Connect app, making file sharing and device interaction easier. The Honor Magic9 series is the first to launch with MagicOS 11 pre-installed. Currently, through the beta program, the interface is available on more than 18 devices in China, with plans to update additional devices between October and November 2026. The new system aims to offer a more vibrant user experience, advanced AI features, and expanded compatibility across various platforms and devices.
