Over 70% of Chinese phones now have 5G

By the end of July 2026, the number of 5G mobile phone subscriptions in China reached 1.3 billion, accounting for 70.5% of total subscriptions. During the first seven months of the year, an additional 316,000 base stations were added, bringing the total to 5.15 million stations.
