On Sunday, October 18th, the Sidi Bouzid Governorate organized a marathon and awareness activities aimed at promoting a culture of organ donation. The event was overseen by the Ministry of Health and involved collaboration with civil society organizations such as the Red Crescent and the Tunisian Scouts. The event included workshops on blood pressure and diabetes, bicycle races, artistic activities, as well as a forensic medicine booth to monitor donation processes. Ten individuals registered to donate organs, including five citizens and staff from the healthcare and security sectors. The initiative sought to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation and engage the community in supporting this humanitarian cause.
