Al-Sisi Confirms 2030 Presidential Exit

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi confirmed that his term will end in 2030, emphasizing that this date is final and no longer open for discussion. During a graduation ceremony for the academy and military colleges, Sisi announced a plan to train and prepare a new generation of Egyptian leaders. This includes a doctorate certificate campaign, through a 30-month training program, aimed at preparing them for high-ranking positions in the state such as the presidency, ministries, governorates, and parliament. He has not yet clarified the selection process for participants or how they will transition into political roles, but these statements suggest Egypt is preparing for a transitional phase concerning the country's leadership after his term concludes in 2030.
