Egyptian Army Upholds Mubarak's Reputation in October Celebrations

During Egypt's celebration of the October War anniversary, a documentary film was shown highlighting the role of former President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak as the Commander of the Air Force during the war. The film included recollections of various stages of the battle and the heroics of the armed forces. Mubarak's appearance, who had been absent from the scene since his departure from power in 2011, came within the context of documenting the roles of prominent military leaders such as Sadat, Shazly, and Tantawi. It also serves as a symbolic acknowledgment of his historical role in the victory, during official events attended by President Sisi.
