Monastir Hosts Sixth Green Steps Event

On October 18, 2026, the Monastir Art Square will host the sixth edition of the "Green Steps" event, aimed at commemorating both the national and international days of awareness about organ donation. The event seeks to raise awareness about the importance of donation and its vital role in saving lives through a variety of educational activities, including health, sports, and artistic programs. The program features free clinics for diabetes and hypertension screening, blood donation areas, first aid workshops, and information on the legal procedures for donation via national identity cards. Additionally, it emphasizes leveraging sports, artistic, and technological activities to promote a culture of donation, involving the Arab community and families to foster a developmental dialogue that contributes to saving patient lives and supporting the organ donation and transplantation system.
