Cocaine smuggling via La Goulette port

The Tunisian Court of First Instance has issued prison sentences ranging from 30 to 40 years to a female network involved in smuggling and trafficking cocaine through the La Goulette port. Additionally, fines between 50,000 and 100,000 dinars have been imposed, and the convicted women will be subjected to administrative supervision for 10 years after serving their sentences. The case dates back to thwarting a drug smuggling operation in which cocaine was hidden inside cosmetic bags. Investigations revealed an organized network responsible for shipping, smuggling, and distribution, following the arrest of the suspects and the seizure of quantities of drugs in their possession.
