Jamal benefits from PSG star's absence

Paris Saint-Germain announced that their left-back, Portuguese player Nuno Mendes, will be out for several weeks due to a tear in the hamstring of his left leg suffered during the team's match against Strasbourg, which they won 3-1. This injury will be a blow to the team, especially since Mendes was one of the top candidates to mark Barcelona's star player, Lamine Yamal, in the upcoming Champions League encounter. It is expected that coach Luis Enrique will rely on French defender Lucas Digne to fill in for him in the next match at the Parc des Princes.
